About this policy
This policy explains how Test Sparky Electrical handles the personal information you choose to send us through this website. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
This is a simple marketing website. The only personal information it gathers is what you type into the contact form when that form is switched on. When you submit it, you may share:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number (optional); and
- the message or job details you write to us.
You are never required to fill in the form — you are just as welcome to phone or email us instead.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry, work out what you need, and quote or book the electrical work you have asked about. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we never sell them.
How your details are stored and how long we keep them
A form submission is delivered to Test Sparky Electrical by email so we can respond to you. We keep your message only for as long as we reasonably need it — to answer you, complete any job, and meet our record-keeping obligations — and then remove it. Information we hold is kept in a secure manner and access is limited to the people who need it to help you.
Analytics and cookies
This site currently uses no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no advertising networks. We do not build a profile of you or follow you around the web. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and explain what is used and why.
Payment information
This website never asks for card numbers or bank logins. Any payment for work is arranged separately, directly with Test Sparky Electrical.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Contact us and we will action it promptly:
- Email: terry.tester.rsw@example.com
- Phone: 0400 000 111
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
